Description

41 and 43 Queen Street are a pair of cottages that date from the 17th century or earlier, with a date plaque on the front wall indicating 1682. The cottages are timber framed and have a pebble dash plastered exterior. They feature a red plain tiled roof that has an outshot at the rear. There are three gabled dormers on the roof. The left side has an external red brick chimney stack, while the right side has a plastered brick chimney stack with square attached shafts. The cottages have a three-window range of 19th-century small paned casements. The right and left sides each have vertically boarded doors that are approached by steps.
