Description
Nos 3, 5, and 7 Yeldham Road are two cottages that likely date back to the 16th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. They are constructed from timber framing and plaster, topped with a red plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left and half hipped to the right. The cottages feature a central red brick chimney stack and an external red brick chimney stack on the right. There is a wing at the rear, and the buildings are one storey with attics. They have four gabled dormers and one gabled dormer on the left return. The front includes a four-window range of square leaded and small paned casements. To the right, there is a plank and muntin door, while the left return has a vertically boarded door. These cottages are also included for their group value with Nunnery Farmhouse and the associated farm buildings.
