Description

Nos 6 and 7 Stebbing Ford are cottages that likely date from the 16th or 17th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, featuring weatherboarding on the side. The roof is made of red pantiles. The cottages have a four-bay ground floor and a three-bay first floor, with a mix of casement and sash windows. There is an off-centre six-panel door and an off-centre attached square chimney stack made of red brick. Inside, there are chamfered bridging joists. An extension has been added to the rear.
