Description
Colops Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 16th century, with a crosswing of approximately 1500 and subsequent alterations, including changes from the early 20th century and extensions. The house has a timber frame with plaster rendering and some weatherboarding to the rear. The roof is red tiled, with a hip to the left side. It is two storeys high with a four-window front, featuring Gothic casement windows. The original moulded and panelled front door has a red tiled porch supported by brackets. Internally, there is an original back-to-back fireplace dating from around 1570 and stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops throughout.
