Description

March Cottage is a cottage dating from the 15th century, originally a two-bay hall house, with 16th-century inserted floors and a chimney stack, along with later additions and alterations. The building is timber framed and plastered, featuring a red plain tiled roof that extends to the right and left off centre over 20th-century porches, and includes a gabled dormer. It has one storey and an attic, with a five-window range that includes the porches with 20th-century casements. There is a 20th-century board door and an off-centre chimney stack.
