Description

Nutlands is a house, likely dating from around 1718 based on a deed, and altered in the early 19th century. The house has a timber frame clad in painted brick, with a hipped roof covered in grey slate. It is two storeys high, with three small-paned vertical sliding sash windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor. A central, 20th-century flat canopy porch with Tuscan columns and capitals shelters a panelled front door. Red brick chimney stacks are located to the right and left of the house. Original features include 18th-century balusters and handrail, 18th-century doors, and several good fireplaces.
