Description
Thatched Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th century or earlier, with later alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is half hipped and covered with red plain tiles, and there is a red brick chimney stack on the left side. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range of 20th-century small paned casements. On the left, there is a red tiled gabled porch supported by brackets, and a 20th-century vertically boarded door with a light. Inside, there are stop-chamfered bridging and ceiling joists, as well as halved arched bracing to the walls. The original roof timbers remain intact, and the structure consists of three bays plus a chimney bay.
