Description
78 and 80 Shalford Road is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates from the 17th century or earlier and has undergone later alterations and additions. The building is timber framed and has a rough rendered exterior, topped with a half hipped roof covered in red plain tiles. There is a 20th-century gabled wing at the center front, while the original wing is located at the rear. A central red brick chimney stack is present. The house has two storeys and features a window arrangement of three small paned casements. Inside, chamfered bridging joists are exposed. Additionally, there is a pump with a fluted head and spout attached to the rear wall.
