Description

This house, now divided into two separate dwellings, dates back to the 15th century or earlier, with subsequent additions and alterations made over time. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a roof covered in striated red plain tiles. A red brick chimney stack is located at the rear left, featuring four octagonal shafts rising from a square base, positioned to the right of the central range. The building comprises at least three distinct phases of construction; the left-hand side features a long wall jetty with substantial central bridging joists, while the right-hand side incorporates a jettied gable crosswing. The front elevation has a window arrangement of 2:2:1, with small casement windows containing multiple panes and glazing bars. A vertically boarded door is situated to the left of No. 25.
