Description

Medley Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th or 17th century, with later alterations. It features a timber frame with plastering and has a weatherboarded plinth and a lean-to on the right side. The roof is half hipped and covered with red plain tiles, and there is a catslide dormer. An off-centre red brick chimney stack is present. The cottage has a three-window range of 19th-century casements with central transoms, and a single window range on the road frontage consisting of vertical and horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. To the right, there is a half-glazed door with a flat canopy supported by brackets.
