Description

The Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th century or earlier, with later alterations. It features a timber frame and pargetted plaster, topped with a black pantiled roof that has two grey slate catslide dormers. To the left, there is a red pantiled lean-to that incorporates an external red brick chimney stack, while a red brick attached shaft chimney stack is located to the right. The building is one storey with attics and has a three-window range of 20th-century casements. An off-centre red tiled gabled porch leads to a four-panel door, with a vertically boarded door to the left. Inside, there are chamfered bridging joists and an inglenook fireplace.
