Description

Motts Garden is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It has a timber frame and is covered in parget plaster, topped with a grey slate roof. There is a plastered chimney stack on the left side. The cottage is one storey with an attic and features a two-window range of 19th-century vertically sliding sashes. To the left, there is an enclosed gabled porch with a plank and muntin door. Additionally, there is a single-storey extension on the left, also with a grey slate roof and plastered walls. Inside, the cottage has exposed ceiling beams and a red brick Inglenook fireplace with a mantel beam above.
