Description
Mosses Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 18th century and later. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red tiled roof. The building features an off-centre right red brick chimney stack and a left external red brick chimney stack that includes a tiled bake oven. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a four-window range, primarily consisting of small paned horizontal sliding sashes. There are red tiled porches at both the left and right doors, with the right door being made of three vertically boarded sections. Inside, the house has chamfered bridging joists, jowled storey posts, and internal doors from around 1800, complete with ironmongery.
