Description
Nether House Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is half hipped and covered with red tiles, featuring a central red brick chimney stack and an external red brick chimney stack on the left side. The building has two storeys and attics, with a three-window range of 20th-century three-light casements. There is a red tiled gabled porch that is partly glazed and has ornate upper lights, leading to part glazed double doors. The farmhouse consists of four bays, showcasing heavy stop-chamfered bridging joists and jowled storey posts. Inside, there are 18th-century and 19th-century panelled doors, as well as 18th-century board doors with ironmongery. The roof structure includes side purlins with angled collars.
