Description

Moorings is a cottage that dates back to the 16th or 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The building features two gabled dormers and has an attached red brick chimney stack on the left side, along with an external red brick chimney stack on the right. The cottage is one storey with attics. On the left side, there are 20th-century small paned bow windows, while the right side has a small paned vertical sliding sash window. The central entrance is a part-glazed enclosed porch from the 20th century, leading to a vertically boarded door.
