Description

Broom Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with some later alterations. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, topped with a red plain tiled roof and features two red brick chimney stacks. The cottage has two storeys and attics, with two windows on the ground floor and four on the first floor. The windows include various 19th-century casements and horizontal sliding sashes, with shutters on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century enclosed gabled porch that has sidelights and a panelled door with a light.
