Description

An early 19th-century lodge cottage originally serving Gosfield Hall. The lodge is constructed of red brick with a red tiled roof. It is two storeys high and features a dog tooth eaves cornice, a moulded band, and a dentilled moulded band below, which extend through the gable ends. There's a moulded brick plinth, and recessed arches to three sides with a central stone band. An external chimney stack rises from the gable band. Gothic windows flank a 20th-century panelled door. A single-storey extension was added in the 20th century to the north side. A similar lodge located to the south of the road was subsequently demolished.
