Description
The King's Head Inn is a public house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier. It features a timber-framed structure with pargetted plaster, batten decoration, and some painted brick facing. The roof is covered with red plain tiles, and there are three red brick chimney stacks visible from the street. The building has a double range on the left side, with a hipped crosswing outshot to the right. It stands two storeys high and has a two:one window arrangement, primarily consisting of small paned vertically sliding sashes. The ground floor includes bay windows on both the left and right, while the first floor has a Venetian window on the right. There is a six-panelled door to the left and central 20th-century double glazed doors leading to an extended roof porch. Inside, the inn features exposed timber framing and a chamfered brick arch above the fireplace.
