Description
Hill Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century, with a 20th-century rear wing. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior, topped with a red plain tiled roof. The building features left off-centre and right external red brick chimney stacks. It is one storey high with attics and includes three gabled dormers that have 19th-century two-light casements. There are three vertically sliding sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance, located off-centre to the left, has a four-panelled door with a simple surround. Inside, the farmhouse has exposed stop-chamfered bridging joists and parts of the main frame are visible. The doors are vertically boarded and retain their original ironmongery.
