Description

Thatched Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century, with a 20th-century rear extension and restorations. It has a timber frame and is plastered, with some areas of weatherboarding. The roof is thatched, and there is a central red brick chimney stack. The cottage is one storey with attics and features a range of three 20th-century small paned casement windows. There is a 20th-century gabled porch with a vertically boarded door. Inside, there are through bracing to the walls, stop-chamfered bridging joists, chamfered storey posts, and a halved and bladed top plate scarf.
