Description
Ivy Lodge is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations and additions made in the 18th century and later. It features a timber frame that is plastered and has a large hipped roof covered in red tiles. There is a central chimney stack made of red brick. The house is two storeys high with attics and has two dormers that contain three-light casement windows from the 19th century. To the left, there is a single-storey extension from the 19th century, and at the back, there is a wing. The front has a two:three arrangement of small paned vertically sliding sash windows and a central four-panel door with a two-light design, framed by a moulded surround. Inside, the bridging joists and side girts of the timber frame are visible.
