Description

Down Westwick is a cottage dating from the 16th to 17th century, with later alterations and additions. It features a timber-framed and weatherboarded single-storey plastered section at the front right, topped with red plain tiled roofs. The building has red brick chimney stacks on the right and external left sides of the main range, as well as a gable apex stack on the right range. It is one storey with attics and includes a central dormer. The front has a two-window range of 20th-century two-light small-paned casements, with pentice boards above. There is a boarded door and one window on the right range.
