Description
The Old Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 16th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a painted brick facade. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and is hipped towards the road. There is a plastered chimney stack on the right side. To the left, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension featuring a curved parapet. The cottage also has a 20th-century enclosed gabled porch with a red tiled roof and a glazed door. On the first floor, there is a single small-paned casement window. Inside, there are heavy bridging joists and flat ceiling beams on the ground floor, along with a two-armed crown post roof structure.
