Description

Forge Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are timber framed and faced with 19th-century red brick, featuring plastered returns. The cottages have a red plain tiled gambrel roof that includes four three-light catslide dormers. There are red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. The buildings are one storey high with attics and have a seven-window range of 20th-century casements with transoms. The left and off-centre right doors are vertically boarded. These cottages are included for their group value.
