Description

Orchard Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded. The roof is a red plain tiled gambrel style, with the gable facing the road. A red brick chimney stack is present. The cottage has one storey and attics, featuring a catslide dormer on the left side. The attic includes a square leaded three-light casement window, while the ground floor has a bay window with small panes to the left and a vertically boarded door with a fanlight to the right. At the rear, there is a single-storey range built of brick and pantiles.
