Description

Nos. 15 and 16 on High Street are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They have a timber-framed structure with a painted brick facade, while the rear and returns are weatherboarded. The cottages feature a dentilled eaves cornice and a red plain tiled roof, topped by a central red brick chimney stack. They are two storeys high with attics and have a two-window range of small paned vertically sliding sashes. Additionally, there is an iron small paned casement with pightle hooks in the return attic. Each cottage has a four-panelled door on the right and left sides.
