Description

Ramble House, at number 9 High Street, and Kemble Cottage, at number 11 High Street, in Bradwell-on-Sea, are a house dating from the 17th or 18th century, or possibly earlier, with later alterations. The building is timber-framed, with a rough rendered first floor and a panel-pargetted ground floor. The roof is covered with red plain tiles. Two red brick chimney stacks are present, one external to the right, and the other incorporated into a single-storey range. The house has two storeys and a four-window facade of vari-light, diamond-leaded casement windows. Modern glazed doors are present on the left and right, with a flat canopy on brackets to the right.
