Description

These houses date from the late 16th or 17th century and were formerly known as Bradleys Cottage. They have a painted stone ground floor and a weatherboarded first floor, topped with a plain tile roof. The houses are two storeys high, with attics, and feature a continuous jetty, a wood eaves cornice, and a half-hipped roof. A central rear stack serves as a chimney. Dormers with hipped roofs are present. The first floor has an irregular arrangement of three casement windows, with a smaller window positioned close to one at the left end and another towards the right end. The ground floor features two windows with segmental head arches. The front door of number 9 has glazed panels with ribbed detailing, while number 11 has a panelled door, both set under segmental arches.
