Description

This is a house, now divided into three cottages, likely dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed with rendered timber framing and has a plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has a plinth at number 6, with a slight wooden string course marking the division between floors. The roof is hipped at the left end and adjoins number 4 to the right. A central stack is located between numbers 8 and 10. The windows are a mix of 19th and 20th-century casements, with one towards the left end, one towards the centre, and two single-light windows at the right end. There are three 20th-century doors: a glazed door to number 6 and a panelled door to number 8, both protected by light lean-to porches to the right of the centre, and a half-glazed door to number 10 in a lean-to at the left end of the front elevation. The building originally extended further to the right.
