Description
Halstead Road Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are timber framed and plastered, topped with a red tiled roof. Each cottage has single-storey lean-to extensions on the right and left, featuring red pantiled roofs. The cottages have red brick chimney stacks positioned off-centre to the left and right. They are one storey with attics, which include two grey slate catslide dormers. The front has a window arrangement of 1:2:1, consisting of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars. There are two vertically boarded doors set in moulded surrounds, with pentice boards above the doors and windows. The internal doors are also vertically boarded.
