Description

Nos 164 and 165 are cottages that date from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. They have a timber-frame core that is encased in brick and feature an old plain tile roof. The cottages are two storeys high and consist of four bays. There is a planked door located in the centre and between the left bays. The right centre bay has a single light window, while the other bays have three-light casements with cambered heads. On the first floor, there are four three-light casements. The roof is half-hipped on the left side, with a ridge stack in the centre and a higher ridge to the right of it. There is also an external stack at the right end and a stack located behind the ridge on the left.
