Description

Kingfisher House is an early to late 19th-century house located on Knapp Lane, Ampfield. It is constructed of painted brick with a slate roof. The main body of the house is three bays wide and two storeys high, with a three-bay set-back section at the right-hand end and a single-storey service wing attached. The symmetrical front has a six-panelled door within a trellis porch. Above the door is a 12-pane sash window. The upper floor features four 16-pane sash windows. All windows have rubbed flat arches and stone sills. The roof is low pitched and has end stacks.
