Description
Keeper's Lodge is an early 19th-century cottage located in Hursley Park. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a slate roof. It has an L-shaped layout with two bays by two bays, and includes an octagonal two-storey porch at the outer corner, while the rest of the cottage is one and a half storeys high. The porch has pointed arches on its adjacent faces, and inside one of these arches is a Gothic door with carved spandrels framing it. On the first floor, there are openings on all sides, but these are mostly blocked, except for one two-light pointed-head casement. On the ground floor of one wing, there is a three-light pointed-head casement with a brick hood mould. The roofs of the main building are half-hipped, and the chimney features three diamond stacks at the junction.
