Description
Rillcot is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with a 19th-century wing added to the rear. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and has an old plain tile roof. The building features two bays and is two storeys high. The central entrance consists of an 18th-century four-panelled door set in a solid frame, which is sheltered by a late 20th-century deep flat-roofed porch. On either side of the door are segmental-headed 19th-century two-light casement windows. Above these, there are additional 19th-century two-light casements and toothed eaves. The cottage has gable end stacks and a small hip on the ridge to the right of centre, leading to the top of the rear wing. There is also a lean-to structure at the left end.
