Description

Brook Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a plain tile roof. This double pile house is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of an early 19th-century six-panel flush frame door, which is topped with a stucco architrave. On either side of the door are wide 20-pane sash windows with gauged brick arches. The first floor has three wide 12-pane sash windows, also with gauged brick arches. The eaves are boxed, and the roof is hipped with a stack on each hip. The cottage is connected at the right end bay to another three-bay cottage known as Colyton Cottage.
