Description

Bridge Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the west side of The Street in Cheriton. It is constructed of brick with blue headers and features a thatched roof. The cottage has three bays and two storeys. The central entrance has an early 20th-century planked door that is sheltered by a span gabled timber and tile porch. To the right of the door, there is a two-light casement window. The other bays contain 19th-century three-light casements, with 20th-century two-light casements inside, all featuring segmental heads and some alterations. On the first floor, there are three regular 19th-century three-light casements, with the outer ones having 20th-century two-light casements. The cottage is adorned with a blue header cornice and has gable end stacks.
