Description

Godwins Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century, with an earlier core. They are constructed of brick featuring blue headers and have an old plain tile roof. Each cottage is single storey and consists of a single bay, with an additional bay on the left end. The right end has a mid-19th century door, while the inner end of the left bay features an earlier door with a baffle entry. Each bay has a 1, 2, or 3-light casement window. There are two mid-19th century 2-light dormers with sloping roofs. The roof is half-hipped on the left side. An external brick stack is located at the right end, and there is a ridge stack above the left door.
