Description
Rose Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located on Wiseton Road in Clayworth. It is constructed of brick, with some areas rendered, and features a pantile roof. The building has a brick and dressed stone plinth, a first-floor band, cogged eaves, and coped gables, along with two gable stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of two bays, with a continuous outshut at the rear.
The main west front includes a central 20th-century brick porch with a half-glazed door, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows with segmental heads. Above the porch, there are two 20th-century casement windows. The south gable features a single fixed light window above, while the rear elevation has two small windows, dating from the 19th and 20th centuries.
