Description

The boundary wall at the Church of St. Peter is a 19th-century structure located along Town Street and Church Lane. It is built from rockfaced ashlar and large dressed stone, featuring saddleback coping and incorporating a large dressed boulder. The wall includes a pair of plain ashlar gate piers topped with a wrought iron overthrow and a cross, which is inscribed with 'June 1887'. To the west, there is a matching wicket gate with a similar smaller overthrow. The wall is approximately 200 meters long and is included in the listing for its group value.
