Description

Blatches is a house dating from the 16th century, designed in an L-shape. It features a timber frame and is rendered with rough cast, topped with a plain red tiled roof. The building has three range casement windows and an off-centre board door, which is sheltered by a wooden gabled porch supported by brackets. There is a brick plinth and an off-centre red brick chimney stack that serves an original fireplace. Inside, the house has chamfered bridging joists and some 18th-century internal doors.
