Description

Bouchiers is a house dating from the early 17th century, with later alterations. It is two storeys high and features a timber frame with plaster and a plain red tiled roof. The house has a two-storey gabled porch with a jetty, which is glazed on the ground floor. There are four range leaded casement windows, and to the right, there is a lean-to extension that has a matching window. The house is topped with four red brick chimney stacks. It is an eight-bay house, with all beams being chamfered, and some tie beams lacking uprights. The roof has side purlins and arch braces.
