It features a timber frame with plastering, while the left side has a single-storey section that is weatherboarded. The cottage has a thatched roof and three diamond leaded casement windows. There are two board doors, one of which is sheltered by a slanting porch supported by small brackets. Additionally, the building has two red brick chimney stacks.
