Description

The Flitch of Bacon Public House is a building dating from the 17th century or earlier, with extensions added to the right and left at the rear. It features a hipped roof covered with plain red tiles and gablets. The structure is timber framed and plastered. On the first floor, there are three sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has two bay windows with brick plinths and two three-panel doors. A central board relates to the Dunmow Flitch custom.
