Description

Bayleys is a house dating from the 16th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It is two storeys high and has a plain red tile roof. The house is timber framed and plastered, with an exposed timber frame to the jettied crosswing. A brick plinth is visible. There are four windows, which are C17 square leaded casements with pentice boards above. A C20 porch, clad in red tile and supported by brackets, covers a plank and muntin door. A red brick chimney stack is positioned off-centre.
