Description

The house at Sewards Farm dates from the 16th century or earlier, with subsequent additions and alterations. It is a two-story building with a red plain tile roof in two levels, incorporating a catslide. The front and rear of the house are jettied. A crosswing is present to the right, with a half-hipped roof. The exposed timber frame includes jowls to the crosswing. The front façade has three diamond-leaded casement windows. A 20th-century enclosed porch with a 20th-century board door has been added. A lean-to extension is located to the right. A distinctive red brick concertina chimney shaft sits on a square base.
