Description

Nos 38 and 40 Church Street are a pair of cottages dating from around the 17th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and have painted brick infill panels. The cottages feature a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and are one storey high with an attic. The front has two plank doors, four two-light casement windows on the ground floor, and three gabled dormers. There are also two brick chimney stacks on the ridge.
