Description
No. 5 on Keytes Lane is a small cottage dating from around the 17th century. It has a timber-framed structure with brick infill panels, a 19th-century brick gable on the south side, and a modern brick gable on the north side. The timber framing is visible on the east elevation and inside the cottage. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with plain tiles, featuring gabled ends. The building has one storey and an attic, with modern casement windows that include glazing bars. There are tiled canopy hoods over the north and south gables, and a modern gabled dormer on the east elevation. A single brick chimney stack is located on the ridge.
