  • II Cottage. Mid-to late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed with painted brick infill on rendered rubblestone plinth; straw thatch roof. 2-cell baffle-entry plan. One storey and gable-lit attic. Framing: wide rectangular panels, 3 from cill to wall-plate; V-struts from collar and single-purlin ends to right gable end. C20 ledged door to left of centre with C19 cast-iron latticed casements to left and right. Red brick ridge stack in 2 sections with moulded capping directly above entrance. Small C19 red brick outbuilding with slate roof attached to rear right corner.
