Description

No. 44 Church Street is a timber-framed cottage dating from the 17th century, featuring render infill panels. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys high with two bays. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door, flanked by a pair of 19th-century casement windows to the east and a combination of a pair and a single modern casement window to the west of the door. On the first floor, there are two pairs of 19th-century casements. The cottage is topped with two brick ridge chimney stacks.
