Description

The Malt Barn between numbers 25 and 27 is an early 17th century timber-framed barn that has been converted into a dwelling. It features brick infill panels and is set on sandstone foundations. The barn has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and consists of one storey and an attic. A central cart entrance is supported by a pair of arch braces and an oak lintel. The ground floor includes eight modern casement windows with leaded panes, while the eaves are adorned with six dormers—three gabled and three flat-roofed, all also featuring leaded panes.
